Ladies, this month we're stocking our spiritual shelves with the
Holy Ghost &
Prayer. Here are some verses to use in your personal scripture study that will help you focus on growing your testimony of these things:
- 2 Nephi 32:5 - For behold, again I say unto you that if ye will enter in by the way, and receive the Holy Ghost, it will show you all things what ye should do.
- John 15:26 - But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.
- Moroni 7:7 - And likewise also is it counted evil unto a man, if he shall pray and not with real intent of heart; yea, and it profiteth him nothing, for God receiveth none such.
- D&C 9:7 - Behold you have not understood; you hve supposed that I would give it unto you, when you took no thought save it was to ask me.
- D&C 88:11 - And the light which shineth, which giveth you light, is through him who enlighteneth your eyes, which is the same light that quickeneth your understandings.
- James 5:16 - The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
- Moses 7:27 - And Enoch beheld angels ascending out of heaven, bearing testimony of the Father and Son; and the Holy Ghost fell on many, and they were caught up by the powers of heaven into Zion.
