Facebook Page!

One last post for today:

See this little box over here to the left?

<------ That one, right there? Yes, that one! That, dear ladies, is our Facebook feed - say Hello! It won't bite. This box displays the recent posts to our FB page - and there's also a little button to "Like" the page so that you will receive notification of what gets put up on our page.

What gets put up on the page, you might ask? Great question! When there is a new blog post, we'll give it a mention on FB. Can't be in Relief Society for the weekly preparedness items to focus on? That'll get posted on FB. Maybe there's an awesome sale on a food storage staple over at the grocery store - we'll put a little heads-up on FB!

What's more, everyone is able to post things on the wall - as a quick example, Sister Mottishaw recently sent me a great link to a Youtube video about making your own powdered laundry detergent. Awesome, right? If we had everyone following our FB page, she could just go ahead and post that on the wall, and cut out the very lazy & procrastinatory middle-man (AKA, me). With me involved, it could be weeks before that sees the light of day on the blog! (Just kidding - now that I've publicized it, I shall have it up very quickly. Probably.)

See all the possibilities? If you hear of a great deal, see a cool idea on Pinterest, have extra garden bounty that you are in need of sharing, want to partner up with someone to take advantage of a thrifty bulk purchase, have a question about canning... the list goes on & on! But it only works if there's more than 6 people "liking" the page. :) 

So, take that mouse for a little stroll over to the lovely left side of the page, and clickety-click the "Like" button with the greatest of ease! You get a little workout to keep your fingers buff, plus a whole new way to live providently. Who knows what wonders lie in wait for you??
