of Jesus Christ

Matthew 26-28
Luke 22-24
Mark 14-16
John 13-21

"With all my heart and the fervency of my soul, I lift up my voice in
testimony as a special witness and declare that God does live. Jesus
is His Son, the Only Begotten of the Father in the flesh. He is our
Redeemer; He is our Mediator with the Father. He it was who died on
the cross to atone for our sins. He became the first fruits of the
Resurrection. Because He died, all shall live again. ‘Oh, sweet the joy
this sentence gives: “I know that my Redeemer lives!” ’ May the whole
world know it and live by that knowledge.”

from the Deseret Book CD “Stories of Jesus”

Jesus climbed the hill to the
So he went willingly – to
garden still.
Gethsemane.
His steps were heavy and slow.
Love and a prayer took Him there
He felt all that was sad, wicked or
To the place only He could go.
bad,
All the pain we would ever know
Gethsemane. Jesus loves me.
While His friends were asleep,

He fought to keep
His promise made long ago.
Gethsemane. Jesus loves me.
So he went willingly – to Gethsemane

The hardest thing that ever was done,
The greatest pain that ever was known,
The biggest battle that ever was won,
This was done by Jesus!
The fight was won by Jesus!

Gethsemane! Jesus loves me!
So He gave His gift to me – in
Gethsemane.
Gethsemane! Jesus loves me!
So He gives His gift to me – from
Gethsemane.
